Weekly Co-op
Our Classes
Tuition
Tuition is $144 per child for the final 4 week session. This includes the full program day (9:45 AM – 2:00 PM) and participation in both classes.
All class instruction and standard activity materials are included in the session fee.
Sunbeams
Ages 5-7
We offer a nurturing, structured day where children learn through meaningful activity and play.
Class 1: Language Arts and Movement
Through circle time, children engage in storytelling, songs, poetry, and guided movement. These activities build language, listening, memory, and social skills while introducing early literacy and numeracy concepts in a natural, engaging way.
Class 2: Practical Life and Handwork
Children rotate through baking, gardening, arts, and simple handwork. These hands-on activities develop fine motor skills, coordination, independence, and confidence.
Each day follows a calm, predictable rhythm with imaginative play, nature time, and shared meals, creating a safe and joyful environment for growth.
Nestling
Ages under 4’s
A special and optional add-on class for our youngest co-op members who have siblings actively attending.
Costs for this class vary, and is material only.
Wayfarers
Ages 8-10
We offer a structured, engaging program that supports growing independence and deeper learning.
Class 1: Atomic Habits
This class helps students build strong, positive habits using simple ideas inspired by Atomic Habits by James Clear. They learn how small, consistent actions lead to big changes over time, how habits are formed, and how to replace unhelpful ones with better choices.
Through activities and discussion, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and grow into confident, capable individuals.
Class 2: Design & Build Your Own Ceramic Clock
In this creative 4-session class, students design and build their own fully working clock using ceramic air-dry clay. They’ll shape the base, craft numbers and themed decorations, and personalize their design with colors and ideas they love.
As the project comes to life, students paint, assemble a real clock mechanism, and finish with a glossy glaze. By the end, each child takes home a unique, handmade clock that is both beautiful and functional.
Embers
Ages 11-15
We offer a focused program that builds critical thinking, independence, and applied learning.
Class 1: Engineering
In this next-level Thinkers Lab class, students build on their foundations by tackling more complex challenges and projects. They deepen their problem-solving skills, refine their thinking processes, and learn how to plan, test, and improve their ideas with greater independence. Through hands-on tasks and collaborative work, students strengthen creativity, resilience, and logical reasoning, gaining the confidence to approach problems with clarity and purpose.
Class 2: Art
In this acrylic and watercolor class, students explore how each medium works and how to use them with confidence. They’ll experiment with techniques like color mixing, brushwork, and layering, while learning how to express their ideas in different ways. The focus is on exploration, creative thinking, and building a strong understanding of both mediums, with finished pieces that reflect their personal style.

Our co-op is designed to feel both nurturing and purposeful: calm but engaging, creative but structured, social but thoughtfully guided. We want children to feel at ease, while also experiencing the kind of challenge, responsibility, and shared learning that helps them grow in confidence.

Crescent Kids Co-op offers homeschool families a warm, thoughtfully designed weekly gathering where children learn, create, and grow in community. Each session combines enriching classes, hands-on experiences, creative exploration, and meaningful social connection in a way that respects the different developmental needs of each age group.
