Age 8-10
A Wholistic Approach to Learning.
Islamic Waldorf education is based on four pillars faith, goodness, beauty, and truth.
In the early grades we help children see the beauty in the world, while developing capacities unlock their complete potential as human beings. When children connect their learning with experiences that use their hands, touch their heart and engage the mind we help give the understanding of the subject matter while planting seeds of creative and analytical thinking.
Robust academics, hands-on learning, art and movement. Our children thrive academically and socially with combined grades.
Main Lesson - Our Main lesson periods are times to dive deep into a subject for a few weeks. Important skills will be incorporated such as reading practice, math skills and mental math practice, writing, grammar, science, vocabulary, the arts, social skills and more.
Artistic Projects - There will be a focus on activities that encourage the child’s natural sense of beauty and colour.
Handwork - Students will work with their guide to cultivate patience, focus and perseverance, all while strengthening their fine motor skills and self-confidence.
Other activities for this age group include, indoor play and special social activities, cooking, eating together as a community and gardening.
