Theme: Entrepreneurship (Early Childhood Edition)
Welcome back, Crescent Kids families!
In this session, we’re exploring entrepreneurship in a way that is gentle, playful, and developmentally aligned with our 5–7 year olds. At Crescent Kids, we believe that the foundations of entrepreneurship begin not with business plans, but with creativity, confidence, storytelling, and hands-on making.During this session, our youngest learners will:
- Find their voice through songs, rhymes, and simple storytelling
- Engage their memory skills with call-and-response activities, rhythms, and repeating patterns
- Build confidence by sharing ideas, expressing preferences, and participating in small group activities
- Develop early “entrepreneurial thinking” through imaginative play, problem-solving games, and crafting objects with intention
- Explore value and exchange in a child-appropriate way—through pretend markets, sharing circles, and collaborative creation
- Create handmade items for a gentle introduction to “making something from your hands to share with others”
- Learn about roles like helpers, makers, storytellers, and community members—the seeds of understanding contribution and service.
This session blends Waldorf principles, practical life skills, and imaginative exploration to help children begin understanding themselves as capable, creative individuals who can bring ideas into the world.

Here, they will become makers, designers, and problem-solvers. the students will imagine a product, plan it, create it with their own hands, and learn how to present it to others. they’ll explore what makes something valuable, how to price it fairly, and how to share their creation with confidence.
This whole journey will lead them towards a special celebration of their hard work. Our Entrepreneurship Fair!
At the end of the five weeks, they’ll each get to set up their very own table, display their products, share their story, and sell their creations to families and friends. It’s a chance to shine, to practice what they’ve learned, and to feel proud of everything they have built.
Throughout these weeks, we’ll work with imagination, courage, creativity, and heart. Honoring the process just as much as the final product.
